| Our Workshop is located in the
geographical and cultural heart of Salento: the
possibilities are virtually endless whether you choose
the sea, the hystorical places or the natural beauties.
If you want to discover customs and traditions, if you

seasides, the spectacular cliffs overhanging the sea, if
you want to taste genuine food and get lost into the old

| Salento is an unspoiled stretch of
land between the western Jonian and the southern Adriatic
indented coastlines with high cliffs, lovely fjords,
hidden "calette", long white beaches and a
transparent sea with coastal fisheries, deep sea fishing.
Salento is a peninsula of the Italian peninsula, it is"
The Heel of the Boot" floating on the Mediterranean
sea. It is often quoted in epic poems such as the Odyssey
and the Aeneid and it is placed in the cradle of Western
civilization. |
| Salento begins at Lecce and ends on The
Heel of Italy. It is said that the peninsular tilts to
the east because a Greek God, to enjoy himself, had wanted
the boot for his own. |

| How to reach us... |
| By car: arriving from Northwards,
drive on motorway A14 Milano-Bari or A16 Roma-Bari until
Bari; highway SS16 Bari-Brindisi-Lecce until Lecce, then
drive on highway SS16 Lecce-Maglie, then drive on highway
SS275 Maglie-Santa Maria di Leuca and stop at Montesano
Salentino. |
| By train: travelling by national
railway FS, Lecce and Salento can be reached through the
Adriatic line (Milano-Bologna-Pescara) or trough
Roma-Caserta-Lecce line. In Lecce we suggest you to rent a
car. |
| By plane: We can be reached by plane
arriving at Bari airport "Palese" or Brindisi
airport "Papola-Casale"; there you can take a
bus to Lecce, rent a car or take a taxi. |
